I am thinking of becomming a mobile dj. Any advice and tips?

Hi , i would like to become a dj. But im unsure if im suited becuase im not sure if i have the confidence so do people reckon a DJ has to super confident and cocky?

    I’m not a mobile DJ, but I am a radio station jock… and this I can say, you need to have a personality and the ability to improvise ! Lightning fast thinking is also helpful ! I have mobile DJ-ed before and done live station remotes, so I can understand where it is you want to go ! Never panic when a album/CD skips or fails… always have a back-up cued and ready to go !

    It’s a surprise to many people, but most DJs fake being confident and outgoing; that’s why it come off as overconfidence and cockyness.

    The thing to do is become very, very good at what you do. That will naturally result in confidence. As a mobile DJ, you should also be mindful to get good as related skills like time management, public speaking, ettiquette,
